Technically, I’m a Data Scientist. I got into Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing back in 2017 (shoutout to Udacity), long before ChatGPT changed the game. Back then, we built churn prediction models that looked great on paper but struggled in real life. I still remember a client going through churned customers manually, only to find our predictions barely held up. Same story with NLP — we were hard-coding so many rules to catch fraud, it often felt more frustrating than futuristic.
 

Over the years, I’ve worked with clients like Swisscom, DHL, Daimler-Benz, Volkswagen, BMW, Infineon, Deutsche Bahn, and Siemens — each project adding more real-world lessons to my technical toolkit.
 

Then came ChatGPT. That was a turning point. It reshaped how I think, code, and problem-solve. Its reasoning capabilities? A game changer. Now I bounce ideas off it daily, and tasks like “Should I run a permutation test here?” suddenly feel like collaborative thinking.
 

Falling for Cognigy

In 2024, I stumbled upon Cognigy. At first, I wasn’t sold — just another chatbot platform, I thought. I was deep into the Salesforce ecosystem and fascinated by Agentforce. Kore.ai impressed me with technical chops, especially their early AI agent features. But Cognigy? It grew on me.
 

The UI? Gorgeous — and if you’re staring at it for 12 hours a day, that matters.

The attention to detail is next level. You finish a course, get a signed certificate (yes, by the CEO), plus a LinkedIn share link. Small detail, big impact. Some of the most helpful technical tutorials? Done by Cognigy’s C-suite. Love that.
 

And the demo experience? Mind-blowing. Within minutes, I can spin up an AI Agent that runs off a mock customer homepage. It looks and feels like the real thing. It's powerful, fast, and honestly, kind of genius.
